First Project of Akanksha Housing Scheme (to provide shelter to the State Government Employees with free of cost land and construction cost at no profit no loss basis) has been implemented at New Town, Rajarhat. 576 flats of different categories have been constructed. Land has been provided free of cost by State Government. Beneficiaries had been selected through lottery and flats have been handed over during 2021. Deed of Conveyance has also been executed during the year 2021-22.
